Operating procedures in light of the COVID-19 pandemic

Dear Customers,

Here is an update regarding operating procedures in light of the Stage 4 Restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It highlights what YOU can expect from us during your move and what WE expect from you. Please call if you have any concerns.

We are currently operational. All The Right Moves is closely watching the progression of the COVID-19 virus under the direction of the Federal Government and local authorities.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) – All our staff members and customers will be required to wear masks or other PPE during all stages of the move process. This is for the safety of both our staff and customers. Please understand that it is difficult to undertake physical and labour intensive work while wearing these masks, and it may lead to staff needing breaks and working at a more moderate pace. Please contact us prior to the move if you have any issues with PPE requirements of both staff and customers.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

EDUCATION – All our staff members have been educated on proper hygiene to limit the spread of the virus following the Federal governments educations resources. This includes completion of an online training course covering the latest evidence in limiting the spread.

HYGIENE AND TRUCK SAFETY – We have all necessary methods of disinfectants, such as sprays and hand sanitisers available in all of our trucks to keep our equipment safe. Our trucks are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the end of each day.

FIT FOR WORK – If any of our staff members are not feeling well and are presenting with the outlined symptoms of this virus, just like all other Australians, they will be not permitted to work and will be required to self-isolate for 14 days.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

SOCIAL DISTANCING – We require all of our customers to commit to social distancing, this means no handshakes upon greeting our staff members. You will not be able to ride in the truck also as this will breach the 2m distance requirement. Customers may be present for the initial walk through to show our team the items that are to be moved, during such time they must maintain social distancing of 2 metres

CONTACTLESS MOVE – When possible, the use of labels/stickers and diagrams/instructions to direct where the furniture is to be placed in the new house would be preferred. Service agreements can be signed and returned electronically prior to the move date OR if the client can provide their own pen to sign

CONTACTLESS PAYMENT – When possible, providing payment/card details prior to the job commencing

NO ASSISTING – Due to current circumstances we ask that customers do not assist with the house move, please leave this to our staff members. If that means you require to be more organised for the day, please do so.

SANITISATION – Customers must disinfect all door knobs and surfaces that our team will come into contact with. You are required to open windows to allow adequate ventilation.

ARE WE SAFE AROUND YOU? – If you have recently returned from overseas and are currently self-isolating, we need to know and will not be able to move you. If you are feeling unwell, you MUST let our office know. If this is not honoured, our staff reserve the right to leave this job.

PLEASE stay informed here – https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus

We are doing everything we can to get you moved safely and we expect you do everything you can to keep our staff members staff.

The health and well-being of our customers and staff members comes as our highest priority. We can get through this together.
